Colonel Jack Dempsey

Dave Eastman sent me copies of Colonel Dempsey's obituaries as they appeared in two newspapers at the time of his death.
I've included them here as historical reference and as further tribute to one fine man.

As many of you know, Dave wrote a book about the Outlaws and
a great deal of detail concerning these events may be found in that work.
If you have not read it  - well, you really do need to.
The book is a fine contribution to our goal -
to preserve the history . . .
