Tony Villarruel, Outlaw 26, 71-72, contacted me recently about reunions he and other Outlaws, Mavericks & Bushwhackers have been enjoying.
They are all actively seeking other Outlaws,Mavericks and Bushwhackers
who served during the 1970 - 1972 era.
Tony sent along two photographs of the group and they are included here.
If you served with the 175TH AHC in that time frame you really
should contact the guys.
It's great to be back in touch.
I'm fairly certain that should read 'Vinh Long' as opposed to 'Binh Long', but then we all know how the press is . . . .

"We have been meeting
since Ivey Miller and Tony Villarruel
found each other on the old Welcome OL/MAV page in 2004. We met for the
first
time since Vietnam 1972 at Fort Rucker Alabama. Then our next
gathering was
at Albuquerque, NM at Roy White Eagle’s home in 2005. The last time we
gathered was in 2006 in Groton, Vermont at Dave Turner’s home with OB,
Roger and Dave.
The local news
paper heard we were having a Vietnam
reunion at the Bradford Golf Course
and came by and took a group
picture of us
on the green.
We did not meet in 2007
or this year 2008 but we are
planning another reunion at my place in Utah for 2009,

on the new Outlaw
